NAHCO Announces New Airline Agreements and Solar Export Expansion

NAHCO Aviance has renewed multiple airline contracts, signed a deal with FlyGabon, and is now handling the export of solar cells to the United States.

Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc, widely known as NAHCO Aviance, has successfully renewed its service agreements with major carriers including Qatar Airways, Saudia Airlines, and ASKY. Furthermore, the organization has finalized a new contract with FlyGabon, a carrier recently introduced to the Nigerian aviation sector.

Beyond passenger and cargo airline services, NAHCO is facilitating the international shipment of solar cells to the United States. According to an official statement, BGE (Nigeria) Solar FZE began exporting these goods from Lagos in January 2026 using company infrastructure. These shipments, which weigh between 20 and 50 tons, are transported via carriers such as Lufthansa, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and DHL, in collaboration with partners like Access Freight and Ideal Royal.

Prince Saheed Lasisi, the Group Executive Director of Commercial and Business Development, noted that these long-term partnerships highlight the company’s industry-leading position after nearly five decades of operation. He emphasized the company’s readiness to surpass client expectations.

The Group Managing Director and CEO, Olumuyiwa Olumekun, added that the company is dedicated to creating value for shareholders and clients alike. By integrating advanced technology, NAHCO aims to enhance operational efficiency. Olumekun reaffirmed the firm’s focus on maintaining high safety and reliability standards to support connectivity across the African aviation landscape.
