This initiative was carried out in the Amula community, serving as a component of a broader military strategy to purge the region of criminal activity and dismantle insurgent camps.
The detainee is currently held by military personnel for questioning. Authorities are working to verify the suspect’s background, investigate potential ties to militant organizations, and assess his role in recent criminal acts.
Defense officials confirmed that troops remain committed to aggressive tactical maneuvers and intelligence-led patrols throughout Benue State. These efforts are designed to restrict the movement of armed groups and improve safety for local residents.
