Many Feared Dead as Heavy Billboard Collapses on Tricycles in Aba (Video)
A massive billboard collapsed onto several tricycles carrying passengers in Aba, Abia State.
The tragic incident happened on Wednesday, May 28, during rainfall at the Salad Market junction, near GIA Event Centre.
Eyewitnesses reported that passengers were trapped inside the tricycles, commonly known as keke napep, with fears that there were fatalities.
“People are de@d, people don kpai for here finish,” a woman is heard saying at the scene.
At the time of filing this report, there was no official confirmation from relevant authorities regarding the incident or the number of casualties.
