Lightning Strike Kills Eight Cows In Ondo Community
A lightning strike has resulted in the death of eight cows in the Ori-Ohin community of Ifon, located in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The tragic event took place during a heavy rainfall on the evening of Sunday, April 6, 2025, and has caused alarm and concern among residents of the area.
The spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident to Channels Television on Monday.
Ayanlade expressed sorrow over the tragic event, acknowledging that it was a natural occurrence.
Ayanlade further mentioned that the police have contacted the community leaders to ensure that the incident does not cause any controversy.
