Labour leader urges President Tinubu to abandon imperial style in Aso Rock

Labour leader Andrew Emelieze has criticized President Tinubu, advising him to stop acting like an emperor and reminding him that his stay at Aso Rock is only temporary.

Comrade Andrew Emelieze, the National Coordinator of the All Workers Convergence (AWC), has issued a sharp rebuke to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to cease acting like an absolute ruler. In a public statement, Emelieze highlighted that citizens are currently enduring severe economic and social hardships under the present leadership.

Emelieze emphasized that the President is merely a temporary occupant of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa rather than a permanent landlord. He characterized the current administration as a source of national distress, citing rising insecurity, including banditry and kidnapping, as primary evidence of a failing governance model. According to the labour leader, the policies introduced by the administration are consistently worsening the daily struggles of the Nigerian populace.

The AWC coordinator called on President Tinubu to review public sentiment online, noting that widespread frustration has fueled calls for his resignation. Emelieze described the current state of the nation as hazardous to democracy and suggested that the President’s perceived hidden agenda has alienated the masses. He urged the President to reflect on his legacy and consider making immediate corrections before his tenure concludes, reminding him that his time in office is finite.
