Kerry advances to All-Ireland final after narrow win against Dublin

Kerry secured a place in the All-Ireland SFC final after defeating rivals Dublin 2-18 to 0-20 in a competitive match at Croke Park.

Kerry remains on track to defend their All-Ireland SFC title following a 2-18 to 0-20 triumph over Dublin in a tense Sunday semi-final at Croke Park. Despite the intense heat, Kerry managed to hold off a resilient Dublin side that ultimately paid the price for 12 wides and missed goal-scoring opportunities.

Paudie Clifford delivered a standout performance, contributing five points to lead the team, while David Clifford overcame a quiet start to finish with 1-6. Sean O’Brien also provided a crucial second goal for Kerry, which helped them recover after Dublin controlled the opening exchanges of the second half.

For Dublin, Cormac Costello and Colm Basquel performed well, but the team’s inability to convert their chances proved fatal. Kerry’s tactical efficiency allowed them to maintain a lead throughout the final quarter, even as Dublin pressed for a late goal. Following this result, Kerry is scheduled to face Mayo in the final on July 26.
