Katsina United has officially presented 11 fresh additions to their roster in anticipation of the upcoming 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League season. This announcement was confirmed by reports from DAILY POST.
Among the notable new arrivals are Samson Obi, Micheal Ibeh, Koroma Francis, Ubong Essien, and Chinedu Benjamin. The squad is further bolstered by the signings of Luis Dadong, Kolawole Oladipo, Joshua Akpan, Emmanuel Bakare, and Abba Musa.
The club chairman, Surajo Malumfashi, presided over the unveiling ceremony held at the team’s administrative headquarters in Katsina. During the event, Malumfashi shared his belief that these new athletes will significantly enhance the team’s competitiveness. Katsina United is presently engaged in pre-season training sessions to gear up for the start of the league.
