Former England international Katherine Sciver-Brunt will serve as assistant coach for the Trent Rockets Women’s team during the 2026 Hundred tournament. Sciver-Brunt, who retired in 2023, remains England’s second-most prolific wicket-taker with 335 dismissals over 267 matches. During her three seasons as a player with the Rockets, she recorded 176 runs and 10 wickets in 19 appearances.
Since retiring, the 41-year-old has worked in broadcasting and analysis. This new position marks her first foray into professional coaching. Expressing excitement about her return to the sport, Sciver-Brunt noted that the chance to work at Trent Bridge again was impossible to decline. She looks forward to mentoring high-level players while balancing her life as a mother alongside her wife, fellow cricketer Nat Sciver-Brunt.
The club also finalized other staff updates, including the addition of Graeme White as a fielding coach under Chris Read. Additionally, Anton Roux, formerly of the South African coaching setup, has been hired to assist Peter Moores with the Trent Rockets Men’s squad.
