Iyabo Ojo’s Office Damaged In Fire Outbreak, Actress Grateful No Lives Were Lost

A fire broke out at the office of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo on Tuesday night, July 8, 2025, causing significant damage to parts of the building.

According to the actress, the blaze started around 7 p.m. She shared a video via social media showing the extent of the damage and the specific section of the office affected by the fire.

Though visibly shaken, Iyabo expressed immense gratitude that no lives were lost in the incident.

“This just happened today, the 8th of July 2025, around 7 p.m. My office building caught fire,” she wrote. “Thank you to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully, no lives were lost. The devil tested us today but God said no.”

She added a hopeful note, vowing to recover from the setback:

“With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better.”

The cause of the fire has not yet been made public. Meanwhile, fans and well-wishers have flooded the actress’s comment section with messages of support and prayers.
