Iran Issues Evacuation Warning for Major UAE Port Cities Amid Escalating Tensions

Iran has released a high-priority warning advising civilians and workers to vacate areas surrounding primary port facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah.

According to the Tasnim News Agency, the advisory specifically targets those near Jebel Ali Port, Khalifa Port, and the Port of Fujairah.

Tehran justifies this warning by alleging that United States military personnel are operating from or hiding within these civilian maritime hubs, thereby transforming them into active military objectives.

The report claims that strikes against these locations are imminent, framing them as “legitimate targets” due to the purported presence of American forces. This development occurs during a period of intense regional instability following significant military clashes between Iran and Israel.

After Israel conducted strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites, Tehran pledged to retaliate against both Israeli assets and those belonging to its international allies.

As a major security ally to the United Arab Emirates, the United States maintains a strategic military presence across the Gulf to ensure regional stability. Iranian leadership has frequently criticized this presence, warning that any territory hosting American assets could face consequences if the conflict broadens.

While the UAE government has not corroborated these evacuation demands or issued an official response, the threat has caused significant alarm regarding the security of the global energy supply and commercial shipping lanes in the region.
