‘He’s Not a Danger to Anyone’ — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Ex, Gina Huynh, Pleads for His Release on Bail

An ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was initially set to testify against him but withdrew days before the trial, is now pleading for his release on bail.

Virginia Huynh, known as “Gina,” was identified in the prosecution’s case as “Victim-3.” Prosecutors had previously informed the court that they lost contact with her and her attorney while she was under subpoena, warning she might not appear to testify.

In a letter included in Combs’ latest bail application, Huynh identified herself publicly for the first time and urged the judge to grant him bail, describing him as a “committed family man” who “has not been violent in many years.”

Huynh acknowledged that their relationship “was not always perfect” but said Combs had changed over time. “By the time our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience, and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior,” she wrote. “To my knowledge, he has not been violent for many years, and he has been committed to being a father first. I am writing because I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community.”

Combs’ defense team has requested his release on a $50 million bond, arguing that he poses neither a danger to society nor a flight risk.

Last month, a jury convicted Combs on two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, which could have carried far harsher penalties. His sentencing is scheduled for October 3.
