Governor Soludo Honors Former Governors Obiano and Ngige on Birthdays

Governor Chukwuma Soludo celebrates the birthdays of former Anambra governors Willie Obiano and Dr. Chris Ngige, acknowledging their contributions to the state’s progress and national service.

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has extended his birthday wishes to his predecessors, Willie Obiano and Dr. Chris Ngige. Both leaders celebrate their birthdays on August 8, turning 71 and 74 years old respectively.

Reflecting on Obiano’s leadership, Soludo praised him as a dedicated patriot who shaped the state’s progress during his eight-year tenure. He specifically highlighted Obiano’s contributions to infrastructure and development, wishing him continued health and joy in the years to come.

Regarding Dr. Chris Ngige, the governor recognized his significant impact during a complex era in the state’s political timeline. Soludo commended Ngige’s commitment to disciplined public service and his extensive career, which included roles as a senator for the Anambra Central District and Minister of Labour and Employment. In a statement released by Christian Aburime, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Soludo prayed for Ngige’s ongoing wisdom, health, and prosperity.
