Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has firmly declared that the upcoming August 15 gubernatorial election cannot be manipulated or compromised. During a campaign event in the Ifedayo Local Government Area, the governor reassured attendees that their electoral choices would remain protected.
A statement from his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, highlighted the governor’s confidence in the electorate’s resolve. Adeleke dismissed claims from political rivals who suggest they can seize votes, describing Osun as a stronghold where the public will is paramount. He contrasted his administration’s developmental progress with the actions of his opponents, claiming that the local population is undeterred by intimidation tactics.
During a town hall meeting, the monarch of Oke-Ila praised Governor Adeleke for his commitment to infrastructure and governance. The traditional ruler further proposed that the region is well-suited for future investments in sports academies and tourism development as the governor begins his second term.
