Long-time couple James and Ola Jordan, well-known for their roles on the television program Strictly Come Dancing, have announced the end of their marriage. The pair, who exchanged vows in 2003, spent several seasons as professional dancers on the series beginning in 2006.
Vickie White, the couple’s manager, verified the separation following initial reports from the Sun. In an official statement, she noted that the couple began a trial separation recently. Their primary focus is currently on co-parenting their young daughter, Ella, ensuring her needs are the top priority during this transition.
The duo first paired up professionally in March 2000, shortly after Ola won the Open Polish Championship in 1999. Following her relocation to the UK, they married in October 2003. James was a mainstay on the dance show until 2013, with Ola remaining on the cast until 2015. During their tenure, both danced with numerous high-profile celebrities, ranging from sports stars like Gabby Logan and Iwan Thomas to television personalities including Alex Jones and Steve Backshall.
