Casemiro, the former Manchester United midfielder, has officially moved to Inter Miami. The 34-year-old, who became a free agent after his contract at Old Trafford expired, signed a deal through the 2027 season, which includes an option to remain with the club until June 2029.
During his tenure at Manchester United, Casemiro played 160 matches, contributing 26 goals and 14 assists while securing both the EFL Cup and the FA Cup. His previous career highlights include winning five Champions League trophies with Real Madrid and representing Brazil during their run to the round of 16 at the most recent World Cup.
Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham expressed his excitement, noting his long-standing admiration for the player. Casemiro joins a squad that features former teammates Sergio Reguilon, Lionel Messi, and Rodrigo de Paul. Following the midfielder’s departure, Manchester United has bolstered its own roster by acquiring Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa.
