Florida retiree surprised by suggestive license plate

A Florida woman was left stunned after receiving a government-issued license plate with a risqué alphanumeric sequence, leading her to consider keeping it for the humor of it.

Nancy Dello Stritto, a 76-year-old resident of Pompano Beach, Florida, recently expressed her frustration after receiving a new vehicle license plate containing a suggestive message. The plate, which reads ‘SQZ A55’, left her shocked, leading her to question how such a combination was approved by officials.

While her initial reaction was one of anger, Dello Stritto noted that opinions among her family and neighbors remain split on whether she should request a replacement. Although local authorities in Broward County offer free exchanges for plates considered offensive, she has ultimately decided to retain the plate. She jokingly remarked that at her age, she does not mind if the plate attracts extra attention from other drivers. In Florida, license plates are produced at state correctional facilities, a practice that has continued for nearly a century.
