Flamingos Defeat RoyalToms Queens 11-0 in Final World Cup Qualifier Warm-up

The Nigeria U-17 women’s team routed RoyalToms Queens 11-0 in their final friendly match before facing Benin Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria’s U-17 women’s football team, the Flamingos, secured a commanding 11-0 victory against RoyalToms Queens in a friendly match at the Remo Stars Sports Complex. This match served as the final warm-up session before their upcoming 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic.

Harmony Chidi led the offensive charge with three goals, while Kindness Ifeanyi added two to her tally. Further scoring contributions came from Queen Joseph, Mary Dunstan, Tobiloba Sarafa, Destiny Itobore, Precious Oscar, and Koasarat Olarenwaju.

Led by coach Akeem Busari, the team is now turning its focus to the first leg of the qualifier, which is scheduled for July 4 at the same venue. The second leg will take place one week later at the Stade de Kegue in Lome.
