The Federal Government on Monday night held a grand Presidential dinner at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja to celebrate the Super Falcons for clinching their record 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title.

The event featured performances by Nigerian music artists Flavour, Teni, Timi Dakolo, and Fido, who entertained the victorious team.

Earlier in the day, President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu welcomed the Super Falcons at the Presidential Banquet Hall to commend their outstanding accomplishment.

During the ceremony, President Tinubu conferred national honours on the players and announced a reward of $100,000 each. Additionally, he granted each player a three-bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Estate, while members of the technical crew were awarded $50,000 each.

The Super Falcons earned their 10th WAFCON title with a dramatic 3–2 comeback victory over host nation Morocco in the final, held on Saturday, July 26, at the Stade Olympique in Rabat.
