FCMB and 247 Travels Partner to Offer N10 Million Travel Loans

FCMB and 247 Travels have launched a financing scheme providing up to N10 million for international flight tickets, allowing customers to pay back over a period of three to nine months.

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has collaborated with 247 Travels to introduce a financing initiative called ‘Book Now, Fly Later.’ This program enables qualifying customers to secure loans of up to N10 million specifically for international airfare, providing a repayment window of three to nine months.

This service, managed by FCMB Premium Banking, is intended to assist Nigerians in managing costs related to education, business, medical trips, and family obligations. The offer is restricted to tickets booked via 247 Travels. Both self-employed and salaried customers of the bank are eligible, with a fast-track approval process promising disbursement within a single business day.

FCMB Managing Director Yemisi Edun stated that the initiative aims to make international travel more affordable and accessible while supporting the bank’s commitment to financial inclusion. Tunji Adeyemi, Managing Director of 247 Travels, noted that the partnership solves the issue of high upfront travel expenses by offering customers more convenient payment structures. Opeyemi Makinwa, head of Premium Banking at FCMB, emphasized that this product aligns with the bank’s goal of integrating financial flexibility into the daily lives of its clients. Interested travelers can initiate their applications through the FCMB portal or the 247 Travels website.
