German Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen has confirmed the appointment of Erik ten Hag as their new head coach.
The Dutch tactician has penned a deal that will see him lead the team through to June 2027.

The club posted in an official statement on Monday via X, welcoming Ten Hag, confirming the deal.
The 54-year-old Erik ten Hag steps in as successor to Xabi Alonso, who guided Leverkusen to notable domestic triumphs during his tenure.
Following Alonso’s exit, Ten Hag quickly emerged as the frontrunner for the position.
Leverkusen has confirmed that the Dutch coach has signed a two-year contract, which will see him at the helm until the close of the 2026/27 season.
