CREDICORP Introduces C.L.I.C.K.D. Initiative to Boost Digital Device Access via 3MTT

CREDICORP partners with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy to launch C.L.I.C.K.D., a device financing scheme designed to provide Nigerians with affordable access to digital tools through the 3MTT programme.

The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP) has introduced the C.L.I.C.K.D. (Credit for Laptops, Internet, Connectivity and Knowledge Digital Devices) programme. Unveiled on 21 July 2026 at the Afreximbank African Trade Centre in Abuja, this initiative aims to provide Nigerians with affordable consumer credit for essential digital tools. The launch was held in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

By collaborating with the government’s Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme, C.L.I.C.K.D. removes financial hurdles for Nigerians seeking to enter the digital economy. The initial phase supports fellows on the Learn2Earn platform by providing 1,000 locally assembled laptops. Fidelity Bank serves as the credit administrator, while NASENI and Imose Technologies act as the primary device manufacturers. At the inaugural event, 77 participants in Abuja received their equipment.

Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, presided over the launch, emphasizing that success in the digital space requires both technical skill and access to hardware. Engr. Uzoma Nwagba, CEO of CREDICORP, noted that the program creates a responsible pathway for citizens to acquire the tools necessary for employment and entrepreneurship. While starting with the 3MTT network, CREDICORP plans to scale the initiative by bringing in more financial institutions and hardware vendors.
