With the Big Brother Naija Season 11 launch set for July 26, 2026, organisers have shared details about the massive effort required to prepare the house. Planning kicked off in November 2025, involving nearly nine months of design, procurement, and site preparation before the two-month construction phase finalized the structure.
The facility is equipped with advanced technology to monitor the contestants, including 52 PTZ robotic cameras, seven handheld cameras, and an array of 59 microphones and 19 speakers. Positioned next to the main studio, the house is built to host over 20 participants while ensuring total surveillance.
Each year, the house undergoes architectural updates to boost production quality. Notable adjustments include shifting staircases and moving bedrooms to improve camera angles and housemate interactions. These changes are strategic, focusing on how contestants navigate the space.
This project relies entirely on local Nigerian expertise, from civil engineering to interior design. It generates over 1,000 jobs per season, supporting various skilled workers like electricians and carpenters. Once finished, a vast team of support staff, including technical crews and caterers, keeps the show running.
