In a New York court, renowned makeup artist Mylah Morales has provided a harrowing testimony detailing a violent episode in 2010 involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his then-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura.
Morales recounted that during the Grammy Awards weekend, while preparing with Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel suite, Combs suddenly stormed in, angrily demanding, “Where the f–k is she?” The pair then retreated into a bedroom where Morales heard loud yelling and screaming.
When Combs eventually left, Ventura emerged with visible injuries — a swollen eye, busted lip, and bruises on her head — and appeared “distraught” and deeply upset. Morales took immediate steps to ensure Ventura’s safety by taking her home and consulting a doctor, who confirmed Ventura did not have a concussion.
Morales explained she did not report the incident to the police at the time due to fears for her own safety, highlighting an alleged atmosphere of intimidation linked to Combs.
This testimony is part of a wider federal probe into allegations against Combs involving sex trafficking, abuse, and misconduct. Ventura filed a civil lawsuit in late 2023 accusing Combs of prolonged abuse; the case was settled quickly but fueled further complaints and intensified federal investigation.
Combs denies all allegations and has not been convicted in connection with these claims. Morales’s testimony offers a critical perspective on the ongoing inquiry into the mogul’s alleged abusive behavior.
