Catholic Cleric Claims Nnamdi Kanu Served as an Unheeded Prophet Concerning National Insecurity

Catholic priest Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu claims Nnamdi Kanu’s early warnings about Nigeria’s security crisis were ignored by the public.

Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu, a Catholic priest, suggests that Nnamdi Kanu, the incarcerated head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), provided early warnings regarding the rise of terrorism in Nigeria that went largely ignored. In a social media update posted on Friday, the clergyman referred to Kanu as a prophet, expressing regret that his initial cautions were dismissed by the public.

The priest remarked that while many requested a prophetic figure, they failed to acknowledge Kanu when he arrived. He noted that individuals who previously disregarded these warnings are now seeking a savior to resolve issues of oppression and security threats. Fada Angelo emphasized that external solutions for the nation’s instability are unlikely to emerge, stating that citizens must act as their own agents of change.

Advocating for collective action, the cleric urged Nigerians to unite with resolve. He suggested that once the populace stands together, fear will dissipate, allowing for positive progress. He further remarked that many people have recently gained clarity, describing this mental shift as an essential initial step toward national improvement.
