This legal battle involves the Senegalese Football Federation, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
The dispute centers on CAF’s decision to name Morocco as the 2025 AFCON champions after awarding them a 3-0 administrative victory against Senegal. The Senegalese federation is challenging an earlier ruling by the CAF Appeals Board that deemed their team had forfeited the final match. Because the involved parties could not reach an agreement to speed up the legal process, the case will move forward according to the standard CAS arbitration schedule.
Representatives from all three organizations will appear at a private session to present evidence and legal arguments.
