Bride-to-Be Dies After Falling from Roller Coaster, Two Months After Getting Engaged.
A young woman has tragically passed away after falling from a roller coaster.
Priyanka Rawat, 24, was at Fun N Food Water & Amusement Park in the South West Delhi district of India, enjoying the day with her fiancé, Nikhil Singh, on Wednesday, April 2, as reported by The Indian Express.

The couple began their visit in the waterpark area before transitioning to the amusement park section.
Rawat and Singh, who had recently gotten engaged in February 2025, boarded a roller coaster together in the early evening. As the ride started, Rawat fell approximately 20 feet, suffering severe injuries, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police for Southwest Delhi, Surendra Choudhary, as reported by the outlets.
“During the rollercoaster ride, when the swing reached its peak, the stand broke, and Priyanka fell straight down,” a police official told India Today.

Police have stated that the accident was caused by a faulty or malfunctioning seat belt on the ride, according to the Times of India.
After being rushed to Manipal Hospital, Rawat was declared dead upon arrival.

According to the medico-legal case report cited by the Indian Express, Rawat sustained multiple injuries to her arms and legs, along with an ENT (ears, nose, and throat) bleed.
The police have initiated an investigation into the amusement park for potential negligence and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
