Bayer Leverkusen Secures Francis Onyeka Long-Term Before Elversberg Loan

Bayer Leverkusen has signed Francis Onyeka to a contract running through 2032 before sending the promising midfielder on a season-long loan to SV 07 Elversberg.

Bayer Leverkusen has officially extended Francis Onyeka’s contract, keeping the midfielder with the club until 2032. Immediately following this agreement, the 19-year-old will head to SV 07 Elversberg for a one-year loan move. This transition comes after Onyeka enjoyed a standout campaign at VfL Bochum, where the attacking midfielder recorded eight goals and one assist in 30 appearances.

Elversberg signed the Nigeria-born talent to strengthen their offensive roster as they prepare for the upcoming Bundesliga season.
