It’s a season of joyful milestones for Georgina Bloomberg. The 41-year-old equestrian and daughter of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is expecting a baby girl and has just become the owner of a beautiful waterfront home in the Hamptons.
According to the New York Times, Georgina purchased a residence on Cold Point Road in Southampton, located just minutes from her father’s expansive estate. The home, initially listed at $4.29 million, was sold for $4 million in an all-cash deal on May 30.
A source close to the family shared, “Michael wants to be close to his grandchildren.” With the new home only five minutes from his estate, visits to grandpa will be just a short stroll away.
Built in 2012 and designed by architect John David Rose, the house overlooks Cold Spring Pond and Peconic Bay beach. With 100 feet of waterfront, it sets a pricing benchmark for the Cold Spring Point Beach Community.
While more modest than her father’s 22,000-square-foot Ballyshear estate, the 3,000-square-foot home combines elegance and charm. Spread across two floors, it includes four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a stone fireplace in the main living area, and large windows that fill the space with natural light and stunning bay views.
The property offers beach access, community tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, an outdoor shower, and a private boat dock. While there’s no pool, the peaceful waterfront setting more than compensates. Covered porches and a screened-in sitting room enhance the breezy, family-friendly atmosphere.
Georgina shares a son, Sebastian (born in 2023), with her longtime partner, financier Justin Waterman. The couple is now preparing to welcome their second child. She also has a son, Jasper (born in 2013), with her former partner, Argentine Olympic show jumper Ramiro Quintana.
“Two-week countdown begins today. I cannot wait to meet you baby girl,” she recently shared with her 100,000 Instagram followers.
