Nollywood legend Ngozi Nwosu, widely recognized for her performance in Fuji House of Commotion, has publicly appealed for financial aid to manage a worsening medical condition. Through an emotional social media post, the actress disclosed she requires ₦30 million to cover the cost of three critical surgeries.
Currently receiving care in a hospital where she has remained for three weeks, Nwosu described experiencing extreme physical distress. She stated, The pain has become unbearable, and she urged the public not to abandon her during this crisis. She is calling on her supporters, relatives, and industry colleagues to assist with the necessary funds.
This situation marks a recurrence of previous health struggles for the actress. In 2013, Nwosu underwent successful heart and kidney procedures in the United Kingdom, which were financed through the generosity of donors and the Lagos State government under then-Governor Babatunde Fashola. Unfortunately, her condition has resurfaced, forcing her to return to medical care. Nwosu is now relying on the benevolence of the public and their prayers as she attempts to secure the funding required for her survival.
