Actor and filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu has stated that anyone who kills another human, whether directly or indirectly, cannot be considered a true Native doctor or traditionalist.
In an Instagram post, Ugezu explained that traditionalists are connected to “Aja Ani,” the earth goddess in Igbo mythology associated with fertility, morality, and the earth itself (as described on Wikipedia). He emphasized that those who truly understand Aja Ani would never kill, as they are aware of the serious consequences.
‘’Anyone who kills is a cultist” he said
He believes that many people are cultists but now parade themselves as Dibias.
‘’A cultist is a ritual idiot who is not connected to any Aja Ani. Be careful, brethren.” he said
