Federal Civil Service Commission Launches Online Accreditation for 2026 Promotions

The FCSC has opened an online accreditation portal for Salary Grade Levels 14 to 16 staff eligible for 2026 promotions, with a firm deadline set for August 28.

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has officially opened the online accreditation process for civil servants on Salary Grade Levels 14, 15, and 16 who are eligible for the 2026 promotion cycle.

A public announcement released on Thursday by the Head of Press and Public Relations, Ibraheem Zakariyya, specified that affected staff must finish their accreditation on the official promotion website. This process is active from August 14 through August 28, 2026. The Commission Chairman initiated this digital requirement to maintain an efficient and transparent promotion workflow.

Candidates will receive unique login credentials via their registered email addresses to access the system. The FCSC emphasized that the portal will strictly close on August 28 with no grace period or extensions provided. Staff members who miss this deadline will be forced to wait until 2027 to undergo the accreditation process again. Officials are encouraged to complete the registration early to prevent last-minute technical difficulties.

Furthermore, the FCSC has instructed Permanent Secretaries and heads of various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to notify all qualified personnel, including those stationed at remote offices or on international assignments, to ensure full adherence to these instructions.
