Francis Fadahunsi, the senator for Osun East, has presented himself at the Osun State Police Command in Osogbo to honor an official summons. He reached the facility at 2:35 pm, escorted by Samuel Erale, the Commissioner of Police responsible for electoral security.
The visit stems from a recent controversy involving Fadahunsi and Francis Eniade, an All Progressives Congress candidate for the Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency. Both men faced significant public criticism on Tuesday due to accusations that they threatened Accord Party members in advance of the upcoming gubernatorial election.
These allegations are based on a viral video shared on social media, where Fadahunsi is heard speaking in Yoruba. During the recording, he reportedly instructed that any individuals associated with the Accord Party spotted in Ilesa before the Saturday election should be killed.
