Russian Missile Strikes Ukrainian Hotel Housing US, UK Citizens

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed a devastating attack by Russia in Kryvyi Rih.

In a post on his official X handle on Thursday, the President stated that a rescue operation was conducted in Kryvyi Rih throughout the night following the attack.

He revealed that a “ballistic missile struck an ordinary hotel,” killing at least four people and injuring over 30 others.

The post added that before the attack, volunteers from a humanitarian organization, including citizens of Ukraine, the United States (US), and the United Kingdom (UK), had checked into the hotel.

“They survived because they managed to get down from their rooms in time.

“Unfortunately, four people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones.

“In total, more than 30 people were injured, and all have received the necessary medical assistance”, Zelenskyy added.
