Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke remains optimistic about securing re-election, even as he competes against an opponent supported by 34 other state governors. Sharing his thoughts on social media, the governor referred to himself as a bulldozer and dismissed concerns regarding the political weight of his rivals.
Adeleke noted that while the opposing governors may offer their support, they are not eligible to cast ballots in Osun State. He emphasized that these officials are his friends and their presence does not intimidate his campaign.
Furthermore, the governor thanked President Bola Tinubu for his role in resolving the recent issue involving the freezing of Osun State’s government accounts by the EFCC. Adeleke confirmed that President Tinubu has given him personal assurances that the upcoming electoral process will be conducted in a free and fair manner.
