Adeleke Claims APC Opponents Envy His Dance Moves During Osun Election Race

Governor Ademola Adeleke defends his habit of dancing as a harmless hobby, dismissing critics from the APC as merely jealous of his movements while criticizing his predecessor, Gboyega Oyetola.

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has brushed off negative feedback regarding his penchant for dancing, asserting that his personal pastime does not hinder his official responsibilities. Addressing the issue during an Arise Town Hall event held for gubernatorial candidates, the governor emphasized that his administration remains focused and productive.

Adeleke maintained that there is a clear distinction between relaxation and duty. He stated that he remains a diligent and cautious professional when in his office, regardless of his public-facing personality. The governor suggested that members of the All Progressives Congress criticize his dancing out of envy, jokingly offering to provide them with lessons.

Seeking re-election, the governor also targeted his predecessor, Gboyega Oyetola. He alleged that Oyetola has yet to move past his previous electoral loss and accused him of creating instability within the state. Adeleke concluded by reiterating that his dancing is simply a hobby that has no negative impact on his governance.
