Nigerian forward Terem Moffi is reportedly on the verge of joining the Bundesliga team Hamburg SV, as indicated by recent reports. Sources from Hamburger Abendblatt suggest that officials expect to conclude the deal within the coming days.
OGC Nice, the French club that currently holds his contract, has indicated that Moffi is no longer part of their plans. The 27-year-old previously spent the latter portion of the last campaign on loan with FC Porto, the reigning champions of Portugal. During his tenure with the Dragons, he contributed one goal and a single assist over the course of nine league matches.
Moffi originally arrived at Nice through a loan arrangement from Lorient in January 2023. By the summer of that same year, the transfer became a permanent agreement.
