Hit-and-Run Driver Kills 12-Year-Old Student

A statement from the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed that the accident victims sustained serious injuries and were quickly rushed to Orile Agege General Hospital for treatment. Tragically, the 12-year-old passed away while receiving medical care, while the other victim was later transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for further treatment. Hundeyin mentioned that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare M. Jimoh, has announced that a thorough, detailed, and conclusive investigation has commenced. He urged road users, particularly motorists, to strictly comply with traffic rules and laws, adhere to speed limits, and practice safe driving. On behalf of the officers and men of the Command, CP Jimoh expressed his condolences to the family of the victims over the tragic incident. He also expressed confidence that the Command will get to the root of the matter and ensure justice is served.
