Donald Ojogo, a representative for the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, survived a vehicle collision on Saturday while traveling on the Ore–Ondo Road. The incident was triggered when a commercial bus attempted a risky pass, hitting another car and sparking alarm among nearby motorists.
Ojogo, who was recently re-elected to his legislative post, avoided serious harm. Some of his associates traveling with him were not as fortunate and suffered injuries. The team was en route to a political function in Arogbo, located within the Ese-Odo Local Government Area, at the time of the wreck.
Reflecting on the event, Ojogo thanked God for protecting him and his colleagues from a potentially fatal outcome. He identified the commercial driver’s impatience and dangerous driving habits as the primary causes of the collision. Medical personnel are currently attending to the injured passengers at a local hospital.
