Senator Sabo Muhammed Na Kudu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) flagbearer for the Jigawa State governorship, has officially distanced himself from a rumored power-sharing arrangement involving former aspirant Hon. Bashir Adamu Jumbo. In a formal statement released on August 8, 2026, Na Kudu dismissed the document, which allegedly originated on July 3, 2026, as entirely fabricated.
The candidate clarified that he never participated in any negotiations or authorizations regarding the 60:40 split of government positions, federal appointments, or deputy governor slots. He specifically emphasized that the signature attributed to him on the document is counterfeit, stating clearly that he neither signed it personally nor permitted any representative to act on his behalf.
Na Kudu urged the public and party members to ignore the misleading paperwork, which he asserts does not represent the stance of his campaign. As political speculation grows surrounding the 2027 elections, the Senator has warned that he will pursue legal action against anyone involved in creating or distributing the fraudulent agreement. Meanwhile, it is noted that Na Kudu has already selected Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, a former gubernatorial contender for the PDP and NNPP, as his designated running mate.
