Austin Johnny, an assistant coach for Warri Wolves, confirmed the squad is fully prepared for the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign. The team, known as the Seasiders, aims for a highly successful run this year.
Johnny stated that the organization has established all vital structures to ensure readiness for the league opening. Speaking to the club media, he noted that the team intends to compete using their collective experience, technical expertise, and full manpower.
The coach expressed strong belief in the current roster. He emphasized that the group feels well-prepared to tackle the upcoming challenges with the clear objective of achieving a strong finish. Warri Wolves are scheduled to open their season with an away match against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
