The Nigerian Super Falcons are scheduled to reach Casablanca this Friday ahead of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses. This pivotal game is slated for Sunday at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, with a 6pm Nigerian time kickoff.
On Friday morning, the squad conducted a training session at the ASFAR facility in Rabat to sharpen their tactics. If Justine Madugu’s team advances to the semi-finals, they will head back to Rabat to face either the Moroccan Atlas Lionesses or South Africa’s Banyana Banyana.
Previously, the defending titleholders played their entire group stage against Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt within Rabat. Nigeria secured a second-place finish in their group, trailing Malawi. Meanwhile, Cameroon claimed the top spot in Group D, finishing with seven points to surpass Ghana’s Black Queens.
