Nollywood performer Charles Okocha has dismissed claims made by musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, regarding a biting incident during their recent celebrity boxing rematch. Appearing on TVC Entertainment this past Tuesday, Okocha stated he had no desire to bite his opponent, humorously noting he would prefer to eat grass instead.
The two celebrities competed at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos last Friday. The match ended in victory for Okocha after officials disqualified Portable for abandoning wrestling protocols in favor of prohibited punches and subsequently exiting the ring.
Following the event, Portable alleged that Okocha bit his back and restrained his neck, arguing that the fight was unfairly conducted. Okocha firmly rejected these accusations, highlighting that his protective mouth guard made such an act physically impossible. He further stated that he had no motivation to attack the singer in that manner. Questioning the validity of the claims, Okocha remarked that he had no interest in interacting with Portable’s skin, suggesting the singer should simply concede his loss.
