Presidential Aide Calls for South-East Support for Tinubu in 2027

Presidential aide Chioma Nweze is calling on South-East residents to support President Bola Tinubu in 2027, citing unprecedented infrastructure development and educational initiatives as key reasons.

Chioma Nweze, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement for the South-East, has encouraged the region’s residents to back the President in the 2027 general elections. Her statement followed a joint inspection of federal road projects alongside Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi.

Nweze stated that the current administration’s infrastructure improvements have significantly bolstered the quality of life in the South-East. She highlighted that the ongoing road construction and the superhighway project spanning several states are crucial for fostering economic growth and regional connectivity. She also specifically praised progress on the Ndibe Bridge and the rehabilitation of the Afikpo-Okigwe Federal Highway, noting how these repairs have replaced previous safety and transit concerns with efficient travel.

Beyond infrastructure, the aide encouraged South-East students to utilize the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to overcome financial hurdles to higher education. She commended Minister Umahi for his diligent oversight of these federal projects, asserting that the President’s commitment to the region is clear and warrants continued support in future elections.
