Furthermore, Atiku rejected Tinubu’s recent claims of emerging prosperity, describing them as disconnected from the daily struggles of citizens facing inflation and unemployment.
Addressing the president’s comparisons to China, Atiku stated that China succeeded through strategic investment in infrastructure, education, and manufacturing rather than complaining about population size. He committed to prioritizing industrialization and agriculture if given the chance to govern. Ultimately, he urged the president to stop ignoring reality, noting that true progress requires effective policy implementation rather than optimistic speeches.
