Ukraine conducted a wave of long-range strikes against Russian facilities that support the ongoing conflict, including an oil refinery and a logistics hub situated in the Ryazan region. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the successful operation on X, noting the Ryazan site is located approximately 360 kilometres from the Ukrainian border.
Beyond the Ryazan strike, Ukrainian military units successfully hit a base in occupied Crimea utilized by the Black Sea Fleet for high-speed watercraft. Additional long-range operations targeted a refinery in the Perm region along with a military manufacturing site and export terminal in Rostov.
Zelensky highlighted the precision of these strikes and commended the teams responsible for these operations. He emphasized that these actions are designed to raise the financial toll of the war on Russia and sustain pressure on the Kremlin to facilitate a conclusion to the hostilities.
