Real Madrid reported an unprecedented 1.221 billion euros ($1.39 billion) in revenue for the 2025/2026 campaign, a feat achieved despite the team finishing the season without a major title. The club confirmed this operating revenue, which excludes player transfer fees, represents a 3.1 percent increase over the prior fiscal year.
This landmark financial result makes the organization the first sports entity globally to surpass the 1.2 billion euro threshold, strengthening its status as the industry’s top earner. The club posted an after-tax profit of 26 million euros ($30m), an 8 percent improvement from the 2024/25 period.
Financial growth was largely driven by the remodeled Santiago Bernabeu stadium, which generated 363 million euros—an 11 percent rise—alongside fresh sponsorship agreements. In an effort to reverse the two-year trophy void, the club replaced head coach Alvaro Arbeloa with Jose Mourinho this June. Recent squad reinforcements include Bernardo Silva and Marc Cucurella, with reports linking the club to RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande and Manchester City’s Rodri as the reconstruction process continues.
