Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson for the governor, released the official notice on Monday. The move is designed to ensure staff can complete the collection process before the deadline passes. Essential service workers, such as security personnel and medical staff, are required to manage their schedules to maintain service continuity. Governor Adeleke emphasized the urgency of the matter, urging all eligible residents in both formal and informal sectors to secure their voter cards promptly.
