During a discussion on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics, Obi addressed claims that his one-term stance is simply a political ploy to secure votes. He confirmed his running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso’s recent remarks, noting that their arrangement is rooted in mutual honor and integrity.
Obi stated that he is willing to formalize this commitment, emphasizing that he is a man of his word. He underscored that his governance philosophy centers on building public trust through tangible results, pointing to his previous tenure as governor of Anambra State where he fulfilled his campaign promises regarding fiscal management and public services.
