Personnel at the Forward Operating Base Logomani used CCTV to identify ISWAP/JAS fighters attempting to surround their location. The soldiers launched a counter-offensive, successfully repelling the group. In a separate incident near the Water Board IDP camp in Monguno, forces acted on intelligence regarding militants carrying explosives, prompting the transfer of 21 students to the secure Kinnasara barracks. Although three students experienced seizures during the transition, they were treated at a medical facility and are stable.
Additional operations in Askira Uba, Adamawa, Kogi, and Kebbi resulted in the disruption of militant networks, the rescue of a kidnap victim, and the seizure of various weapons and supplies, including motorcycles and communication devices. These coordinated efforts by military units and local security partners continue to put pressure on criminal syndicates operating in the region.
