Roberto de Zerbi Urges Unhappy Tottenham Players to Seek Exit

Tottenham boss Roberto de Zerbi has declared that any player unhappy at the club should leave, as transfer rumors swirl around Lucas Bergvall.

Tottenham manager Roberto de Zerbi has stated that players who feel dissatisfied at the club should find new opportunities elsewhere this summer. The Italian coach, who joined the team in March, emphasized that he wants his squad to possess genuine pride and motivation when playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

These comments arrive amid speculation surrounding midfielder Lucas Bergvall, who is the subject of transfer interest from Nottingham Forest. Tottenham previously turned down a 38 million pound bid, though Forest is expected to increase their offer to 45 million pounds. De Zerbi confirmed he intends to discuss the future with the 20-year-old player to find the most suitable outcome for all parties involved.

De Zerbi also noted that the club is still looking to strengthen its attacking options before the transfer window closes. Regarding injuries, the manager provided updates on Mohammed Kudus, who is nearing a return to training, and Dejan Kulusevski, whose recovery process is being managed carefully. Additionally, midfielder Xavi Simons opened up about his difficult rehabilitation following an ACL injury sustained in April.
